Your friend is right you really dont needs bindings. I use to just wear shoes but I found it was better to go barefoot because you get more grip and control. I shred triple blacks and can pretty much do anything in the park now. Ive been riding barefoot for 4 years now. Good luck with you shoeless snowboarding goals of 2011/12

If the duct tape doesn't hold good enuff put sum wood screws thru the tops of your feet into the board.

U can ride toboggans standing up in ski areas too so that cud save u some munny

i found using red loctite to stick your feet to the board works better then screwing your feet into the board. I screwed my feet into the board and I got really dizzy and passed out for some reason
