are bindings necessary?

all of my friends keep telling me that bindings arent needed unless your into park. is this true?

Just the opposite actually. For all mountain you need them, but for park just take out your boot liners and wood screw you're boots to your board and you're good to go.

da fuck yall talking about? screw your boots into your board....? yes you need bindings unless your "noboarding" which is what you do in backcountry powder

snowboarding is so hard!!!!!!! like when im going down the bunny hill my feet slide off the board. how do you snowboard without bindings?
