binding help please?

Hey guys thank you for helping. I just bought a 162w GNU Carbon Credit BTX last years model, which im stoked for. but i am also new to snowboarding and am trying to figure out what the best binding is. I wil ride all mountain. i looked at a 2011 burton custom which can for about 120ish i was about to get it for 80 if i did the transaction. But i wanted to know how good these are or is there another binding i should consider.

hey Statty, well welcome and Snowboarding will change your life

Bindings are definitely a matter of preference, foot/boot shape, style, and purpose. What I can tell you is this. I currently still use Burton Customs and have used them for a few years (getting new models every year).

I happen to love them. I have more expensive bindings and "better" ones if you will, but I have to say that I always find myself loving the customs. The flex is perfect for me, they aren't too heavy, yet not to light either, and for the price you cannot beat them.

I have NEVER had them break on me, ever. Not a strap not a ratchet, nothing.

Oh and for the record I HATE Burton products for many reasons, but I have to say that these bindings are worth the money for sure!

Good luck and hope this helps

Now I lay me down to bed, I pray the lord for pow to shred.
And if Its waist deep when I wake. Epic lines I vow to take.

I've ridden the 2010 customs for the past two years and never had a problem. Especially if you can get them for 80 bucks, do it!

No defects at all, look practically brand new. They are size medium. Let me know if you want pics.
