Getting my 154 proto ct soon just wonder what u guys thought about the bindings?
Burton cartel: the go to binding.... LeanIng towards this because it's always the go to binding for any kind of use Burton malavita: unsure about these some say they are good but unsure if they are a good fit with this board Any other bindings suggestions are welcome since I am really only familiar with button bindings.. But what I don't like is rear entry bindings or bindings without a toe cap option... All the bindings I am looking at will be 2012 models so any help will be greatly appreciated PS riding style mostly groomers with some park and pipe not really bombing any hill and looking at this set up as my main and only board |

K2, Uprise, Formula. I have the Uprise. Like it a lot. Very comfy.
Flux SF45 with the highbacks switched out? I got the DMCC light but those are $$$. Also the TT30 Rome Targa/390 depending on flex wanted. No park, maybe the Targa. Raiden Phantoms and Zeros Those are the ones I looked at in looking for all mountain freestyle. |

The Malavita is very similar to the Cartel except with the better asym ankle strap, a bit softer and a heel hammock which I don't believe does much. I'd save the 20-30 dollars and get the Restricted Cartel. Same asym ankle strap and a bit more responsive.

Malavita is a good binding and very comparable to the Cartel with the Malavita being a bit more park oriented. Both are solid choices. If you want a little softer binding, get the Malavita. If you want a little more responsive binding, get the Restricted Cartel.
