390 on 32Lash question

Looking into to purchase the 390 on my 32 Lash size 8.5.
Rome site stated S/M will fit up to size9 but from my understanding the Lash is bulky and I not sure if I should go with M/L binders?

Do you recommend the 390 in S/M or M/L?

Thanks kindly.

First of all it's bindings, not being an asshole, but it's really annoying. Secondly, you should be fine. Rome has really roomy bindings and are extremely adjustable. It's better to have a snug binding than a large one. Just my opinion though, some other people should give an input too. I have Rome Mob Bindings and have an 11 boot, 32 Prion. I don't have the bindings, bt I know they'll fit. I don't know if that helps at all, but just some info.

Thank god, someone else who is horrified by the term "binders". Bindings go on a snowboard, 6th graders have binders in their backpacks.

Anyways, I have size 9.5 2011 Lashed with 09/10 L/XL 390's. Based on the spacing in mine, I would say you're probably fine with a S/M.

I think it'll work, but you'll be cutting it close. The heel cup on Rome's are on the smaller side. My size 9.5 shrinkage tech boots barely fit S/M Rome 390 Boss bindings.

Didn't mean to use the wrong term.

Thanks for the suggestions from everyone.

You know, if you took your boots into your local shop, you could try both sizes and see which one fits best...

Thanks for the suggestion brother.
Went to a couple of shops and they didn't sell Rome. There's a few shops left that I would like to try. I was getting info incase I can't find them. I have the 08 version and loved it. Want to give the cant bed a try this season.

One question though and that is your age. If you are likely to grow and need larger boots, better go with the L/XL as opposed to the S/M. Another thought about going with the bigger size is that these will always be in more demand and easier to sell later should you choose. Additionally, if you end up using a setup as a loaner board for a friend, having the ability to adjust the binding to accommodate a larger foot is not a bad option. Performance wise, there is little difference between the S/M and the L/XL from what I can tell having ridden both.
Thanks big man.
Very helpful tips.
