K2 Uprise or Formula
 

Hi guys/girls, i have finally brought my options for a new binding between the K2 Uprise '11 and the K2 Formula '11
If you had to choose one to throw on a 2011 Ride Dh 155 which one would you pick, thanks for the advice ahead of time :)

auto uprise

autos are pretty rad. they're the same binding just one has that sweet auto tech! splurge spend the extra 10$

I'm a little hesitant to buy these as i feel the original 2 strap on the formula's will be a little more supportive and less of a hassle. Has anyone used the auto's before?

I've ridden the auto's and the auto evers for 4 seasons now. I love them, such a good binding. I'm riding evers on 3 decks, and regular autos on 1.

ive owned the originals, the drones, and the evers. they are completely adjustable to offer more toe support or less.

I do suppose traditional 2 straps are more customizable. you can really crank one or the other.
with the autos you need to crank the ankle strap harder to get the toe strap tighter. but... I never had an issure feeling as if the toe needed to be tighter. Just some fiddling to get it setup at the beginning. but you can do that in your living room.

The Autos work great. Even when I had them set up wrong they held my boot in really well. Once you get them set up right, and get used to it (literally I got used to them after strapping in twice) it's so easy to use.

They are super comfy too. I just picked up a pair of Flux DMCC Lights and will be comparing the two

I have the auto uprise and they are very nice indeed.
