Need some advice please -
I have a current set up with Rome 390 bindings (s/m) and Rome Libertine boots size US8. I have had this set up since last year and really like it. Only problem is I got some last season Nike DK Boots cheap and they do fit into the bindings but very very tight. Do I (A) Use the Nike boots in the Rome bindings and see if after some use they fit better. (B) Sell the Nike boots and get some more Romes (C) Get some new bindings which the Nike boots fit in , thus making my Rome set up redundant. I can't decide as I really like this years Union DK bindings and would look good with the boots but could be a waste of money. Plus the Rome boots and bindings are still in really good condition so not like I could justify throwing them away. What do you all think ? ![]() Thanks |

So why did you replace your boots?
Last season I rode some s/m 390 Bosses with size 10 DC boots. DC makes some small boots so they are more like 9.5s, but they still worked. This was not an ideal set-up and I was hugely underwhelmed by the 390s. For this season, I decided to replace my 390 because I felt they were the bigger problem and I wanted to try out different bindings. You could do what I did and sell the 390s and put that money towards your new bindings if you go that route. |

I didn't replace my boots as such. I still have my Rome boots which I like but the deal on the Nikes was too good to miss. I might well sell my 390's as suggested but I do like them.
Tough decision. |
