Ok so last year my brother forgote to lock down the snowboard rack and the snowboard fell out on the hwy going 60. My Contabands were fucked. I have rod the C.A.D. a couple of times. I like having that flex of the contraband and they are good for the back yard. I want my contrabands back for that tweaky shit. I don't like spinning 720 because i can't spin 720s so i don't need much response. What is your take on the 2 bindings?

I have last years contrabands, and i'm convinced that it's a flawed system. if all you are doing is hiking rails and small kickers they would be great. they don't have the proper physics for speed or pow. i know some people like theirs, and i'm not saying they don't work, but for any kind of terrain, speed, weather, or pow they have alot of problems imo.

The CADs are pretty much one of the stiffest freeride bindings ever made so you're really on completely different planets with the two bindings. You've ridden them, you know how stiff they are. If you like the Contrabands, get something similar.
