Hi all:
This is yet another one of those bindings questions, but any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I have a 2011 Burton Custom Flying V (156), and am now in the market for new bindings. I was thinking of either the Malavitas or the Cartels. I'm an intermediate rider, mostly freeriding. I don't spend much time in the park, but I'm progressing to doing so--still learning. I've heard good things about both of these. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks! |

My understanding is that the Malativa is more freestyle orientated while the cartel is more freeride being a little stiffer. Both can do some park but are not park specific. The cartels are a little firmer and more responsive but not that big a difference. Should be sweet with either.
If you can get a good deal go with that IMO. |
