Beginner bindings vs expert

What is the difference between beginner bindings and expert ones? is it flex or materials or something else entirely?

Usually the more advanced, the stiffer, and more expensive.

Materials, your adjustment options and of course cost.

Flex doesn't have much to do with it because I can buy a high end urban binding that will be really flexible or I could by a high end big mountain binding that is going to be super stiff.

beginner bindings are only limited to flat 180s, expert ones you can do triple corks
