I have been looking at set of bindings for my first board and am confused about 'flex' - rating that Burton and others use.
Would a larger person, 6'2" 195 pound beginner/intermediate want MORE or LESS flex in a binding? And why? My riding is very conservative given that I am in my 50's and my Wife would kill me if I got hurt... All mountain, no park. All advice appreciated - |

It's not really that relative to weight or height, though it can be a factor. It is mainly about what type of riding you'll be doing and what you prefer. If you're riding park, the stereotype is to have flexible bindings. If you are riding groomers it is usually a stiffer set.
