Hello, getting ready for the season with some new bindings and having an issue deciding which of the two i should choose.. I'm a complete noobie to snowboards and could use some advise. im stuck on which bindings to go with tech9s or burton freestyles any advise would be nice! Also worth mentioning, i know there are much much better bindings out there, but as a noob snowboarder i dont want to drop a G in my first season as so..

get neither and get either sum flows, unions, or Romes. You named probably the two worst binding companies you can name. As for saving money. Stay away from Burton for the most part their stuff is over priced and not so high quality. Also the type of riding you want to do would help.

There are as good or better bindings for the same price at the sites you are looking on. At Corbetts the K2 Sonics, Raiden Phantom Wizards and at Sanction for $10 more you could grab the Union DLX.Personally I'd go with the Raidens.

Burton bindings are far from the worst. But yeah, knowing the type of riding would help.

Looking to ride freestyle, some jump once i get good, but just basic fun on the hill, no mountains remotely close to me so thats a no for all mountain board. But like i mentioned, freeride/freestlye boarding. I like the flexibility to do a whole bunch. And thanks for the heads up, ill take a look around the sites!

Look around for sure but I think you'd like the Raidens. Decent flex and good cushioning for jumps. Sounds like you might be in Ontario?

Personally I'd still got with the Raidens. And that is cool, there is a good amount on here from your area. It is kinda dead now but check out the Eastern Canada sub-forum once we finally get some snow.

To be honest Technine has really turned there bindings around,they offer a lifetime warranty on baseplate's now and latter's have lifetime warranty to.

Yes in the past they had problems,and that's what everyone remembers.

There really aren't many dealers in Toronto either,We just brought the line in this year.
