Just picked up some Forum Factions off craigslist for $60. I got the baseplates tightened down about as tight as they will go, but there seems to be a bit of shift on the bindings (they slide maybe 1/2cm back and forth if i pull on them) is this the way the bindings are made or is this the result of a defect?

they should not slide, that's for sure. Maybe your screws are too long and bottoming in the insert before the binding is tight?

I know that my Burton screws were too long for my Nitro board... Raiden screws now fits much better.

Use a washer or two on each screw.

i have factions, decent binding. and not there should not be any play …

Washers are sort of built into the binding... Tried shorter screws and problem solved, at the expense of me feeling stupid haha. Thanks!
