11' Malavita or Cartel? what to buy? - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys,

About to buy either 11' Burton Malavita or 11' Burton Cartel... Which one should i buy?

Which one is better? I can get the Malavita for $249 or Cartel for $219 but not sure what to get.

I want a freestyle binding that will also be good for the rest of the mountain.

I would say '12 Cartels... Cause then you get zero stock forward lean...

'11 Malavita's otherwise. Last years Cartels made for good allmtn/freeride bindings, less freestyley than previous years.

Got the 11 Malavita - happy with the purchase as the Cartels were way to expensive and apparently not as epic as people say the stock lean is.

got the '12 malavitas... wish the graphics were nicer but i don't have any complaints.
