a little bit wider and better quality control? my targas came chipped and theyre (size L) to narrow for my size 11 burton ions. i really like the features but theyre QC sucks.

Anything similar (adj cant & gas pedals, toes straps) with better quality?

ride makes nice binders look at the hefe, not sure why your ditching the romes because of chipped paint, targas are a bomber binding. I remember when all bindings were black or bare metal they all got the job done.

I really don't care about the chipping, it's the fact that they're so narrow they're eating the side of my boot. The bindings are L/XL, no reason they shouldn't work with size 11 boots.

I would agree that they shouldn't eat the side off your boots, but it may be that the boots you own have a larger than normal footprint? (I have Targa's with a size 12 shoe and they fit fine

Flux SF45's have a wider footprint that might fit your boots better.

i have ions w/ shrinkage tech that is supposed to give it a size 10 footprint. its only the right boot ill post pictures tonight

Ride El Hefe

Burton Diode

Flow NXT-FSE

K2 Auto Ever (bit more forgiving than the rest)

I'd say the Targas are closer to the Ride Capo than the El Hefe.

i rode them today and wasnt a fan, too much padding made me feel like i lost a lot of "feeling". going back to the union forces. thanks guys

That's not as much a QC problem as you think. QC is more like shit braking or falling apart. Pain chipping was something that happened between Rome ok'ing the samples and when the factory went into full production. Not Romes fault.

Nothing else really with adjustable canting other than switching out Rides wedgies which for most of their line means buying new beds. Or Burton AutoCant. But that's really a whole different idea.

Not to sound like an ass, but I'd like to see pics of the Ion being to wide for the Targa, Rome's boots aren't really considered lopro and the Ion has a super shrunk footprint being one of Burton's lightest boots...
