I know most bindings will have one issue or other, we usually always focus on the benefits of the binding and not what the binding hinders us at.. I'm sure lots of other people want to know the negatives about their choice of bindings before they blast away $200+ on em.

So far:

Rome Targas: Paint chips off first few times riding, few instances of ratches breaking in extreme cold, forward lean adjustment can get loose during riding.

Rome 390 Boss: Paint chipping, forward lean adjustment can get loose during riding.

Burton Cartels Re:Flex - I don't know if the is even an issue or if they were made this way but: Gaps between baseplate and board .. http://www.snowboardingforum.com/bindings/45370-excessive-play-burtons-reflex-tech-2.html

Ride Capo - ThinGrip toestrap web slowly shreds itself from the toecap, very sticky ratchet system (supposedly fixed now)

FLux SF45 - Both heel strap and toe cap way too plush, toe cap is too sticky (got these from angrysnowboarder)

Union Force (my current bindings): New Toestrap but still hit or miss with some people, Forces are on the heavier side, Toe strap creates pretty rough pressure points for some riders, not all.

Feel free to add to the list, I added the first 5 bindings because those are the ones I'm considering for my NS Proto CT. If you have any suggestion bindings for it, or reviews with bindings on the Proto CT, please let me know. I don't really do park and i'm a freeride/allmountain type.

Ont the burton cartels; they seem to be made that way, ive noticed quite a bit or flex side to side but they are very stiff heel/toe, makes for a pretty responsive yet forgiving binding. Also you can feel the bindings flex with the board.

i currently use the drake reloads sure people will tell you drakes are shit and they were a couple of years ago but they have far less problems than name brands and are pretty well priced personally i think they are better then unions i haven't had anything go wrong and they have 20+ days on them
