Dilemma - Snowboarding Forum

Hey everyone!

I have a little bit of a dilemma. I just got a new Ride machete 164W, the board is great and I love its smoothness and stability. However yesterday I got a great deal on a brand new Ride DH 159W which I couldn't pass up. So now I have two boards. The Machete will be my all around freeride board but I want to use the DH as a dedicated park stick. Now here is the dilemma; I have a pair of Ride Delta MVMNTs on the Machete and and I want to get another set of bindings for the DH. Now the MVMNTs are a pretty flexible binding which would go good with the DH in the park, but I like combo on the Machete.

So here is my question(s):

1. Do I keep the MVMNTs on the Machete and get something flexi for the DH?
2. Do i swap the MVMNTs to the DH and get something for the machete? (ie. Forum Republic, Forum Shaka or maybe Union Force)

I'm open to all suggestions. If you have any better suggestions as for the bindings I'm all ears.

I say put the Deltas on the DH and get Raiden Phantoms for the Machete. Shakas are on the heavy side if you care but are a decent binding. Republics same deal.

Most of Norris team, like Eero for insstance, rides the Phantom. So if it isnt enough binding for you, nothing is! Bahahaha!

Really though between minidisc, dual Airbags, cabled stale, and that highback, its one of my favorite bindings currently on the market.

They seem very good but I need an XL binding. The Phantoms come only in M and L...

Any opinion on the Union Forces?

Larges fit 10-15...

Forces are softer than your Delta's.

i ride drake reloads on my 2011 highlife and they're a nice binding for freeride and have had no problems with them i had a friend who sold his forces to get drakes(he had a lot of problems with the forces), drakes use to be shit there designs went to union but seems they've turned around just my 2 cents
