I just got my ThirtyTwo STW Boa's in the mail today. They are size 13, and fit awesome. I have a brand new NS Legacy with Rome 390 Boss bindings, and come to find out, it looks like the boots are too wide. They are the L/XL bindings, meant to go up to size 15 or something. Is this a common occurrence? Any suggestions on what I should do? Is there a brand/model of binding that is generally wider? So much for riding today...

Yea I think 32 boots must have big (wide) soles or something. I have size 11 Lashed and the JUST fit in my L/XL Rome Targas up by the toe strap.

Dang, that's unfortunate. I wonder why either Rome makes skinny bindings, or 32 makes wide soles. Frustrating. Now I have to decide if I'm getting new boots, or new bindings...

Edit: any suggestions on wider bindings? I'd say my boots are at least 1/4 too wide where the toe strap attaches to the binding.

Yes, the bottom of the boot is too wide. 32's are like that and so are Salomon's.

I know for sure that Burton, Rome and Forum boots should fit.

bindings that have xl sizes instead of l/xl sizes should fit. k2 and ride come to mind. maybe some k2 formula/company or ride capo.

i have 11.5 rome libertine boots that barely fit in my l/xl targas, but i would think that all rome boots should fit in their bindings. they make nice and comfortable boots.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm heading to my board shop to see if they have anything that will fit my boots.

It looks like rome doesn't make any Boa boots, which is kind of been my selling point on my 32's. I'm thinking I'm going to replace my bindings before I replace my boots.

if you're boots fit you really well, i would definitely get new bindings. it's easier to find good bindings than to find boots that fit just how you want them to.
