So the comparison may have you guys thinking that it is a totally random comparison, and it may be lol.
But I've been looking to buy some new bindings for my Ride Control board (I'll attach a picture). and these two were the best I could find through craigslist within my budget (<$100) Which do you guys recommend and why? (and would these bindings mount to my board without spending any extra money?) Burton Cartel ![]() or Ride Contraband ![]() Cheers

the cartels because they are an industry standard year in and out.
the contrabands work for some people, they didn't for me, and imho they have horrible design flaws.

I was thinking about going with the cartels as well..
My only question is, they'll fit onto my ride board without buying any extra mounts or anything? Cause I always hear that with burton you have to have certain types of mounts or something.. |

Cartels. I own contrabands and rode them for two seasons. The problem with them is they aren't adjustable enough. If your boot isn't just the right shape then the straps will never lay flat and even.

I rode contrabands for a couple of years and really liked them. Never rode Burton bindings, probably gonna get the new Malavitas. It's convenient how quickly you just strap in and your boots are dialed in. Setup took about half an hour to get both bindings set, but once they're setup it's pretty sweet. They were a little stiff for a park binding in my opinion.
