Flux rk30 vs sf45 vs others
So im looking to get new bindings on my 2012 Revolver. All ive ever ridden is Ride Contrabands and im looking to try traditional bindings now. I am a complete freestyle rider that even when im on big mtn blacks, im still looking for any hit i can find...
but spend most my time on small NC hills treating the whole mtn as a park and also spending lots of time in the park on both rails and jumps Im looking at either flux, union, or rome...if yall dont mind maybe pointing me in the right directiion First off from flux wasnt sure if sf45 or rk30 would be better for my style. I think the rk30s are the softer if not mistaken, but again coming from nitrane contrabands didnt know if theyd be too soft for me, or if sf45 would be too stiff from Rome im looking at the 390 bosses and from union the forces based on the style riding i described, which binding would you get and why?? thanks |
I've used the RK30's; they are softer but not too soft. They handle 30+ footers fine and ripping down steeper pitches. The SF45's are probably better all around, though. I think you'd be ok on either, I prefer the feel of the RK30 highbacks.

cool thanks...does Flux have canted footbeds?? im thinking no since i didnt see that listed on the specs
could be a deal breaker as my back knee is pretty banged up and I love the cant on my nitranes |

For an Evo if you want canting I would say K2 Formulas, Rome 390 Bosses, Forum Shaka, Burton Malavita, or Ride Rodeo's. |

also, stiffness wise, how do the 390 boss, rk30, and sf45, compare to my nitranes?? thanks |
