Does this bootfit on toestrap look right?

Hey guys. I'm just trying some new medium Burton Cartel (restricted) with my 9.5 size Salomon Dialogue Lights and am worried about the fit.

The boot size range for the medium cartels is 8-11. I just bought the Dialogues and they're very snug. The cartel straps seem to fit OK (slightly tight in the base), but even with the toeramp fully extended, there's a decent amount of boot clearance over the edge. When I stand up it feels like I'm standing over a ledge with my toes over the end.

I'm sort of new at this...but this doesn't look or feel right. Thoughts? Should I consider going to a large binding? Do Salomon's fit larger than their size?

I'm 5'10 and 180lbs. I'll be using a 158 2011/12 Never Summer SL. Thanks

that's it? doesn't look like it's going over too much? I've snowboarded about 30 times with good demo rentals and it's never felt like after a modest degree of toe lean i'm going to fall over...

As long as there is equal heel and toe overhang, you're all set. That's not an exhorbitant amount of toe overhang. It looks about normal. Mount the bindings to your board, centering the boot, and take some more pics. We'll get a better idea how much over hang there is in relation to the board, which is what matters most.
