Reflex Binding on an ICS Board? Burton
Has anyone here ever used a Burton reflex binding (non-est) on an ICS board?
You are probably thinking why I don't just buy an EST binding? Well... I have a Custom V-Rocker ICS board with 2010 Cartel EST. I just picked up a 2012 t.rice and was force to buy conventional bindings, so I ordered 2012 Reflex cartels. I don't plan on getting rid of my Custom so it sucks to have two bindings so similar for two boards. It would be a pain to pack two boards with two bindings on big trips. I know I can't go from EST binding to a non-ics board. Would I be able to mount the 2012 reflex bindings on the ICS board without losing performance? |
I have some Reflexs on my Burton Hero and it didnt seem like i lost performance with my board. I had some Custom ESTs on my board before too. Reflexs is like having EST bindings, in my opinion. Reflexs are pretty much comparable to ESTs, its like having ESTs on a non ICS board.

Went from Co2 reflex to Diode est on my Custom x. Also tried cartel est. The Co2 actually has the best board flex of the 3. Cartel had the best foot feel but offered the least board flex. Reflex works really well with the burton channel as well as 4x4 and would be my pref over a standard est. Diode is the best of both worlds but can't go wrong with reflex in my opinion.
