I don't actually know the second when it broke. I just noticed it when I got to the bottom. The thing about Flows is you don't necessarily feel the loss of tension because the I-strap still holds the foot in. I'd have noticed if I'd tried to do some real hard heelside carves, but that's about it.

Exact same thing happened to me a week and a half ago when I went to strap in at the top of a pretty gnarly line you have to hike to up at bridger bowl in bozeman. I called their customer service and no questions asked the guy took my address and binding size and sent me two new cables with the rear latch the cables go through free of charge. They were there in 3 ish days with a nice flow sticker. I have the nxt at-se bindings from 2-3 years ago. I still have to figure out how to replace the back latch, it looks like you have to pound it out with something but i havnt had much luck yet.

basically there is two little 'O'-clips on the pin that holds the lever, but the 'O'-clips have some barbed edges, so they will only let the pin be pounded out (easily) in one direction. Just check the 'O'-clips carefully and you will see which direction the barbs point out, and pound out the pin in that direction, not opposite. goodluck! |
