Couple questions abou the 2012 MC
Is the highback and footbed real carbon fiber? I have the 2011 mc and the highback and footbed is actually carbon fiber. When i saw the 2012, the highback looks to have carbon fiber "printing", and the same goes to the footbed. It looks nothing like the 2011 carbon fiber For those who have the mc, have you experienced the heelcup breaking? There are like 4 people who reported on evo that their heelcups broke. I know thats only 4 people... But its making me uneasy dropping the money and i break a heelcup. Is it still currently the "lightest" binding out in the market? Im looking for stiff and light, and i need to downsize from my l/xl 2011 mc into a medium |

Why don't you just get the SL? It comes with an extruded heelcup instead of the plastic one. I'd have to break out the scale again but I want to say I remember it being around 280g lighter than my force and over 350g lighter than my flux. The baseplate is carbon injected and extremely responsive.
