I found that most Rome gave me terrible deadzones underfoot. Now, this was a few seasons ago, but still left a lingering taste in my mouth. Never had an issue with any of the Unions I've had over the past few seasons. I think the days of metal baseplates are numbered...it just doesn't make sense. Dupont Zytel that union has been using, I think, has allowed for better board flex than any of the metal plates out there; but thats just my experience.
