Binding Position Across The Board
just after a bit of advice for my binding setup.
My bindings have 3 screw holes (like this: OOO) on each of the 4 mounting point to adjust where the binding sits across the board.
Question is, does setting the binding more on the heelside or toeside make any difference to the riding?
Mine was set up for me and on one binding the screws are mounted on the middle screw hole and the front binding it is on the heelside screw holes.
Toe and heel going over the board isn't a problem. Both protrude about 1cm but as they're angled they don't tend to be problematic ( +15 / -9 ). I could adjust to any of the 3 and be ok.
Just looking for the optimum setting and/or pros and cons of each config.
Advice much appreciated.
The holes you choose does not matter as long as the boot sits in the middle of the board (equal overhang).
If you got a wide board and more angle than that, just make sure they're centred...
