I bought some flow bindings toward the end of 2010-2012 season. I loved them.
But, last season, while they were still almost new, they kept getting un-adjusted. So, I'd have to spend a LOT of time adjusting after the lift, to get my foot bound in. I'm not sure what was happening. Maybe I picked up the board from the bindings once or twice? Also, the ratchets would get stuck UP (unlocked) from time to time. Has anyone had similar experiences? I'm not sure if I should go back to a fixed binding (much faster than adjusting flows), or a new rear entry, or, maybe, I'm doing something that's causing the issues. I do have boa boots, so, the front knob always makes it for a weird fit into the bindings ![]() Whatcha think? |

You didn't mention which model of Flow binding.
I have Jackson Boa boots and NXT-ATs. I've never noticed the boa mechanism making a difference. I have noticed the locking tabs flipping up, especially if I don't push them down all the way. But I've never had to adjust them more than once a day. Is it possible you have them too tight? Flows are supposed to be a little looser than traditional bindings, so if you're having to force your foot in or force the highback closed, you may be putting to much pressure on the ratchets.

I have Flow Trilogy's.
I didn't have to adjust them daily -- but -- I generally didn't adjust them at all -- until they were so un-adjusted that I couldn't bind. I'll try just adjusting before my first run, and see if that helps. Thanks! |
