NX2s - When to buy? - Snowboarding Forum

I really want to pick up the Flow NX2-ATs before this season starts, but I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger due to their price.
REI has them on backorder right now for $269.95, and they're about $300 everywhere else.
My question is, are prices likely to go up or down (or not change) between now and the start of the season (December for me on the east coast)?
I've been riding for 11 years but been on the same board/bindings for 6-7 now, and never gotten to buy my own equipment before.

Im pretty sure they will go 70% off before the season even starts.

The real question is how bad do you want them? Considering you said you've been using the same set up for the longest time now, you mind as well just invest and get them. I'm sure you'll get your moneys worth right away. Sometimes it's nice to indulge. Just consider it a present to yourself.

prices will not drop till the end of the season sales.

The AT's also don't use the new toe cap strap they use the old power I-strap if I recall correctly

I got mine yesterday....sweeetttt !!!!!!!!

If have a aspin ski and board around they are having their "new year sale" where all the new shits 25% off. Atleast the one I shop at did last weekend and said the the rest of their stores are this weekend.

Yeah didn't really think so... wishful thinking I guess.
The bindings I have now are the old supposedly shitty Flows, don't remember the exact model, but they have no toe cap and I like them fine, so if it aint broke...
I'm most looking forward to the canted footbeds. I stood on a board with wedgies on it at the local shop and was amazed at the difference I felt right away.
Which ones did you get?
