Bit of background, Been riding since 88. Lived in Whistler for 2 years, rode 180+ days a season. Lived in Vancouver worked at skate/snowboard shop. Rode 40-50 days a year.
Older now live in the Shuswap, ride RMR, Sunpeaks, Silver Star, Kicking Horse. Maybe get 20 days this year. Looking to get some bindings for a new setup this year. Getting a Trapper Ursa Major 170. (Trapper Snowboards handbuilt, local wood boards from Revelstoke) for a powder setup. Revy had 21 feet of snowfall last year. Im a big boy, 300 lbs 6'2", and I used to DESTROY bindings. Rode Morrow M1's for years due to them sending me 20 base plates (lots of replacements and super comfy binders.) due to breakage. Have a NeverSummer Premier F1 164 with Ride LX bindings right now, aluminum appeals to me. Board is so awesome but bindings are meh....they will do. Looking to get something a bit more premium and responsive. Feedback for a fatguy who will push his gear pretty hard? Will the new plastics hold up? |

You want the El Hefe then, since it's a stiffer and more responsive binding. Makes the most sense for your application and heft.
