390 vs 390 Boss Freeride setup "cant" - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys, lookin for a bit of inside info from some actual users.

I just got a pair of 390 from a friend, last years, for a great deal, brand new.

I am wanting to know if I can use the Boss cant inserts in these, and if so, where can I get some?

I have heard a mixed bag on these, but for the price, I can't complain!

I think a guy on easyloungin, JT was selling some 390s with canted footbeds from the boss or targa. So, I'm going to say yes.

If the Rome rep doesn't answer you soon, join over there and PM him for info, he's a nice guy.

Thanks man. I just spoke with Rome, they said they would fit....if I could find someone who would sell me some........they won't do it.

That's a tough one....there are a lotta dudes on here that like their 390 bosses (I think) and probably have their preferred cant setting, see if you can poach one from them.

Hmm, I have the 390 boss and ended up using the zero cant beds. (I actually discovered this after I forget the beds and spent a day riding with nothing - direct onto the disc. And unexpectedly that felt great! So I put in the zeros when I got down the mountain and haven't looked back since)

But i'm going to try the cant ones this season to check I really do prefer it that way. I'll know by Dec 15 if i'm willing to sell...
