Bindings/board match - shuffeling the deck

Hi all, another question about matching bindings and boards.

I got two boards:
1) A slightly beaten up skate banana (which I have been riding for the last couple of year and hope to keep for buttering around groomers, general messing about, etc.) and
2) a new NS Cobra (for riding pow, more off-piste, etc., if NS ever delivers the board).

I also have two pairs of bindings:
1) 2012/13 Burton Mission Restricted (bought to replace the entry level Burton Customs I had before - thanks nivek) and
2) 2011/12 Rome 390 Boss (impulse buy as I got them at close out for $110).

Which set of bindings would pair better with which board?
I think the Romes are slightly higher tech so was going to put them on the Cobra (the newer and better board).
But I also heard that the Romes are a bit soft (high backs feel softer than the Missions for sure), so would it be better to have the stiffer/more responsive Missions on the more free-ride board?
The Cobra will be my main board in the future for sure, so really want to optimize that set-up.

If it matters, I am an intermediate rider and ride mostly Japan powder but am also planning to do a few trips around the world (like Tahoe this winter).

Thanks for any help!

If the missions are in fact stiffer I'd want them on the freeride board. That's just me though...

Put the pair you like best on the board you plan to ride most.

Finish him!

Because people need spoon feeding and sometimes somebody to talk to other than their cranky family/friends/slut...

It's strange though, isn't it?

He will find an amazing answer to his question if, (4 days max) he just tries them all. He may find that he really enjoys a setup that seems counterintuitive.

I found I enjoy stiffer bindings on my n00dle board and softer ones on my p0w board.
(Maybe the latter is normal, iono....)

Everyone, I made Kale/Sausage/Bean/Potato soup today, and also Cheddar Beer Sausage soup. Both are outstanding.

Which should I bring to lunch tomorrow?

How come no one has soup anymore? What has replaced it?

I'm glad you mentioned soup, Phony. Did you know that in Japanese they say, 'to drink soup' rather than 'to eat soup'.
I think it's because they bring the bowl up to their mouth and shovel it in with chopsticks.

Do you find you can get full from just soup? Generally, I can't, except for my mom's lentil soup. Now, that is filling!

phony_stark 12-04-2012 11:50 PM

I think I say neither, (but DRINK makes more sense) I normally say HAVE.
I don't get full having soup and, honestly, have been racking my brain on, like, a suitable replacement for bread/crackers as a side. I guess classics are classics for a reason.

Dude lentils, for me, make the train come on time.....IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEEEEEAN.

sometimes for school lunch we got served a long bread roll (more like a mini-sub) with our soup. I have tried tunnelling out the middle and filling it with soup (soup sub). Tastes great and I feel like I'm a character in Game of Thrones with soup running down my chin (but they always have grease running down their chins)
