I have just mounted my 2013 Burton Custom Est bindings on my Custom Flying V. Everything went fine but I can't get my hibacks to align with my board. Whenever I loosen them, align them and screw them fast they do not "click" back in position (at the back).
Can I do something about this? Is there a problem if I leave it like this because my leg will push the hibacks back anyway... Thank you!

I just rotated high backs on a pr of new custom ESTs last week & had no issues. Possibly the high back is twisted or tweaked slightly and hangs up instead of pushing back into the fully open position. if this is the case, the 2 surfaces will smooth out & this issue will clear up quickly w a half day riding

When they're loose, pull the highback all the way back into the heelcup and hold it tight with your non-screwdriver hand. Then screw the screws in tight while stll clamping the base of the highback to the heel up with your hand

Damn, I'm anxious to finally hit the snow again. Friday I'm off, 1040km drive and then snow time.

I have found that on my cartels, if i rotate the highbacks more than a certain angle, the side of it looks like that
![]() and the back ![]() On my right binding that the angle is smaller it looks like that ![]() and the back
