Ok, I'm buying a board off someone (Burton Elite) and it has flow bindings, so could someone please explain to me how they work (in english). I'm sure theres a thread on this, I can't seem to find it.

The back of the Flow binding drops down to allow you to insert your boot without unbuckling the straps.

How much is someone paying you to take the Burton Elite/Flow combination off their hands?

Depending on how old that board and bindings are and how the boots fit you that might not be a great deal. Do plenty of research before you part with your cash.

flows are alright, i rode one of the higher end pairs for a season. the main problems with them are 1. they are a huge pain in the ass to do up in deep snow or on steeps, and 2 i never found them to have a very tight hold. i prefer stiffer bindings so i never felt like they were enough for me...

where are you located? theres tons of new or practically new gear on craigslist for dirt cheap where i live. i do live in whistler though so could be harder for you.

Right now I'm in Russia so no craigslist only gear that is twice the price But I'm home to Maryland for vacation and thats where I'm looking on craigslist.

I'm probably gonna browse around for another week or two, can't seem to get any info on the burton elite.
