Hi, I need to choose some wide bindings that will fit my Salomon Synapse boots. I have a pair of Large Ride Capos but they are a terrible fit due to them being borderline too small and WAY too narrow, so I will need a to buy a new pair it seems that will actually fit my boot.
They'll be on a K2 Turbo Dream 161 with size 11 US (10.5 UK) Salomon Synapse boots, and I am in need of bindings with which I'll be able to shred the whole mountain, although I'd rather they were slightly on the stiff side. So far I've been thinking about: Burton Missions, Burton Cartels, Burton Malavitas, Rome 390s, what do you think? Last edited by UKPowder; 01-06-2013 at 06:51 PM. |

Straps are fine and length of the 'footbed' is about sufficient (with gas pedal furthest out), but I have to insert the boots into the bindings (and remove them from the bindings) just at the right angle, otherwise they get 'stuck'. |

I had the same problem with my (US 13) Van's going into Ride Delta's, they were too skinny and I had to kick my boot's into them. I shaved the outer part of the sole's with a rasp. I ended up getting new boots (Nitro Anthem) with reduced footprint, they fit great. Seems like the Ride bindings are made for reduced footprint boots.
My suggestion would be to take your boot's with you when you look at bindings to make sure they fit. |
