I knew it was only a matter of time before I added a park board to the quiver so... I've been looking at the Raiden Eris - I like the smaller disc concept and the air bags. The downside is I can't get them locally so I'd have to order from a shop online without actually getting my hands on them My local shop recommended the Union Rosa and Ladies Flite.

Any others to consider? (no Flows or Burtons, please) I'm new to park if that matters and they're for a Ride Rapture, 32 boots.

Is the Eris a better choice than the Lynx? I have a Union binding already but haven't tried a Raiden. Should I stay with Union or try something new?

Edit: Can't find much in the way of reviews for the Eris or Rosa elsewhere so any input is appreciated.

I understand the restriction against Flows -- rear entry is not a great idea for park bindings -- but why not Burtons?

Eh no really good reason for no Burtons. I mainly avoid Burton because I'd like to try other smaller companies and put my money/support towards them if they have solid product.

Burton will not go under if I don't buy from them. But another good company might. Well, maybe not exactly but you know what I mean.

Edit: Not that Union or Nitro are small, but in comparison to Burton, they seem to be smaller.

You may have a bit of a problem getting much in the way of responses on this thread. Female snowboarders are a minority and female snowboarders that are heavily enough into park to have a park board/bindings probably even more so.

Maybe a better question would be what to avoid for park bindings? You've already identified rear-entry bindings. I have some Rome 390s on my park board, but I don't do enough park for it to make much difference whether I had Romes or Unions or whatnot. How much precision do you need? Are you looking for the best women's binding for park, or are you just looking to avoid making a show-stopper mistake?

Yeah, thanks; you're right, I know.

I guess my basic question is help deciding between the two I've sort of narrowed it down to: Raiden Eris and Union Rosa. And what would make one better than the other for a park board. Especially since I can't physically check out the Eris. Also, if there was another binding to consider.

My basic need is because I foresee being too lazy to switch my existing pair of bindings from one board to the other. I'm new to park so I don't have specifics on responsiveness, etc.

Wow, I see the problem. I just checked the websites for those bindings and they really don't give you much to work with. The Eris bindins at least mention park riding, so that may be all you have to work with. The Unions seem to be more about "ooh, look at the pretty colors".

This is a common problem when trying to research most women's specific gear. There is a lack. In my area, local shops don't carry a lot of different lines, so hunting around in person is also limited.

I thought maybe if anyone has familiarity with either binding, they could provide more info than I was able to find.

Well I know plenty of female park riders. that throw down pretty hard. One that comes to mind is my friend micaela. i Know her current setup is 2011 gnu park pickle with ride capo bindings an she loves it. Idk if that helps but its just my 2 cents.

Thanks! I was considering looking into the women's bindings from Ride...is there a female equivalent to the Capo? I prefer to buy women's specific gear when possible. Thanks!
