Bindings for the DH2?
I have been riding for several years now, and my original freestyle bindings are about to bite the dust. I have a 155cm 2012 ride DH2 and size 12 32 lashed boots.
I love free riding at the top of the mountain, and I am well enough at this now. I want to start serious park riding, without loosing the ability to head to the top when i want. Bindings i had in mind have all have a few problems of their own, but would love to hear your opinions. I have looked at union atlas (screws fall out?) union force ( heard mixed reviews) union contact pro (too soft maybe?), cartels (ruin boots?), customs (too beginner level?), ride capo (seem ok but good for park?)... I dunno so many options. I am looking to spend $250 at max but will go more if you can prove its worth it. Also not a fan of step ins really. I'm open to any opinions. Please provide support though. |

Screws fall out of the Union Atlas? I'm running the Atlas on my park board and they handle 50mph bomb runs no problem. And I've neveer had a screw fall out.
If you can pick up a pair of SL's I'd recommend them for a serious do it all binding. |
K2 Company, Burton Malavita, or Flux SF45.

Extremo would you prefer the atlas or the SL more?
I have done alot of reading and i cannot tell the difference between the two. The good ride gave them the same exact score and review and compared them to each other??? Have you rode both? Can you say one does something better? |

The Targas, Raiden Blackhawk, or Ride Capo. They're probably the best out there. They also all have super customer service from their companies.

I'll second the malavitas, I've been loving mine.

i have some Raiden Zeros and love them. They're a sick binding! They're a park binding and are pretty soft (which I love personally) but if you want them a bit stiffer for all-mountain riding, check out the Raiden Phantoms. I've heard nothing but good from them, and their customer service is great!
