Hey everybody, I kinda fell into this new DH2 board. I was looking at maybe getting a new board this year and once a year Giants stadium holds a massive ski/snowboard sale. So I went with my friend to help her find a new board and looked at the Ride DH2 and the Salomon Villain . To make a long story short I went home and ordered the last years DH2 from the sale for like 300 bucks and they ended up shipping me the brand new model which is over 500! So now I'm in the market for bindings.
Just to quickly try and describe my style of riding: Iv been riding for about 17 years and have just recently got back into playing around in the park but I love the all mountain, glades, cliff drops, and hard charging stuff too. I basically enjoy using the whole mountain as a terrain park but need that stability super fast response for ducking in and out of trees and out of bounds terrain because in my opinion there is no better terrain to ride! I went with the DH2 which appears to give me the "best of both worlds" fit for the shredding power and response of the all mountain but the playful fun side for the freestyle park dude inside of me. I originally picked up the Ride Maestro bindings but they sent me the medium size by accident and they didn't quite fit my boot but was able to demo the larges and they felt pretty good. But I just wanted to get everyone here's opinion to broaden my horizons a little bit. I realized after I bought the Maestros that I didn't really do much looking outside of Ride and now I have the opportunity so I hope to get some solid feedback here. Thanks a lot in advance guys! Well I would suggest the Flux TT30 or Rome 390 Boss. Flux has been my all time favorite. They are one of the most durable bindings I have ever had and they give you your money's worth too. Rome 390 Boss come right after.

What about flow bindings?? I have always been interested in them but never knew anyone who rides them and have been way too lazy to demo them somewhere haha. |
