Slope style set up
I am starting to board this year and have been looking around at some prices here in South Africa. And a begginer set up of boots bindings and board average around R4500 - R5000. So I will be wiling to spend about $600, 400Euros or 350Pounds. I would like to get a full set up but if its a better choice to maybe just get boots and bindigs and rent a board till I can afford something decent I might consider that. Here in SA Burton is the most accesable, but I have looked around and really like the LibTech stuff and the Union bindings. So If thre are decent brands I should look at please inform me.
With the Union bindings I like the Flite, plus they come in some crazy colors.
But have read reviews that they are nice for park ridng but abit soft for the bigger jumps in slope style. As a beginner I wont be hitting any big air, but dont realy want entry level stuff as I wont be able to upgrade any time soon and this will have to last me afew seasons. Got to grow into it as it were.
I am about 1.65m tall. 75Kgs. Male. Size 8/9 shoe, depnds on the brand.
I enjoy watching the freestyle events and this is what I'm more into.
I would also like to know off some places I can get previous seasns models to save on some cash. In the UK. I have a friend over there that can post everything to me so I dont have to pay crazy shiping costs or any surprise taxes or fees that can pop up over here.
Thanks guys for the help.
