Help with bindings please!

Hi guys i recently got a new rome shank for the park and picked up romes mob bosses but they are to stiff for my liking. I was thinking along the lines of 2013 Union Contact Pros or 2013 Malavita winged. I really want something I can tweak easily. Any thoughts, suggestions, and or comparisons?

If Mob Bosses were too stiff you need something like the K2 Hurrithanes, Flux DS30's, or Switchbacks.

Contact Pro's will be softer, but more in the base than anything else. It creates a different kind of play. The frame on your Rome's is not stiff, if your feeling restricted its more than likely the highback/straps so the Unions's won't do what your looking for. Malavita's with wings will not increase your tweak factor. They are stiffer than your Mobs in every way.

Thanks for the reply Nivek, do the DS30's really lack that much in padding on the heel side of foot bed though? This is my only concern with them.

If your looking for that nice torsional flex then the Ride Maestro's new Slimback EC high back is pretty badass, the Capo's also have a nice flex to them and they both have the mini disk system. Gives that response we all look for out of the park but has the friendly tweaking ability for times when you want to play around.

I love a really soft and loose feel so I've been using the Rome 390's on a signal park rocker. I really love the 390's but I know people who like union contacts or forces for a stiffer feel

Ride Maestros are stiffer than Mobs even with the Slimeback. Aluminum gives minimal flex under foot and creats a very planted feel on the board. Their stiff.

Kev, you are all over the place. 390's are higher in the lineup than Mobs, and they're stiffer in every way. The Force is fairly similar to the 390 and the Contact is the loosest bindings I've ever owned.

I didn't know the 390's were up there with the forces. The high backs have tons of flex

I've decided to give the DS30's a go, thanks for the input.

I think it depends on your weight. My buddy recommended the 390 Boss and said it was pretty flexy for him. He weighs 225lbs. I found it too stiff so I ordered some 2013 Union Contacts hopefully these will fit the bill. I want some super flexy bindings for the park and I only weigh 140 lbs.
