Possible to upgrade the strap on 08/09 burton custom? - Snowboarding Forum

I was thinking if i could upgrade the ankle strap and the toe cap on my 08/09 customs to missions
Is it doable if so whats to best place to look for them
Is there any downside to it?
Any other options other then burton missions?

well for one its a lot cheaper to get just the straps

and secondly i thought itd be fun to change the color scheme and upgrade the straps up to date....

sure you can update the straps. best place to look would be on ebay.
i recently bought brand new 2013 cartel ankle and toe straps for $45 shipped.

thanks , i find the cartel toe cap but cant find the ankle strap in medium ...
ill keep looking ..

Burton does sell their straps if you're looking to upgrade or customize.
Your local shop, assuming it's not a big box chain store, can order them up for you.

We prefer customers get them through our retailers.
It helps a lot down the road in case of warranty or making sure the correct parts are sent on the financial end (credits for returns, etc.)
