Ride LX Bindings 2011 vs 2012/13 - Snowboarding Forum

i recently bought the ride orion boots in 8.5. i am looking to buy the ride lx bindings but i didn't know if i should go with the 2011 version which is about $40 cheaper online. or the 2012/13 version with the newer features such as the free flex highback. also the size chart says medium is 5-9 and large is 8-12, should i go with the medium or large? i am done growing. the 2011 version doesn't seem to come with the disks to connect the bindings to the board, but the 2012/13 seem to come with them by looking at the picture. any help would be sweet. thanks

No clue about the difference between the years, but I'd go with the bigger binding and set everything to the smallest setting just to be safe. I think bindings should always come with the disks if you're buying them new.
