What type of bindings woul I need for a super flexible board?
I'm thinking of getting switchback but idk

Here's my logic. If you have a soft board then you won't be doing any hard charging. If you're not doing any hard charging then you don't need a stiff binding. So your options are soft to medium. Too soft and they'll ride like slop (although some people enjoy that type of flex) so that leaves you in the mid range. Switchback fall into this category. As do a litany of others.

Also, what bindings would you recommend that are in the mid range?
For powder is it better to have a soft board of a hard one?

Not much to add to Extremo's response - pretty clear and comprehensive. As he said, there is a myriad of mid-flex bindings in the market, with none being inherently superior to the others.
