hey guys, i'm finally buying some gear (after renting for the last 7) and bought a 153 lib tech t rice and 32 lashed boots (size 8.5). I mainly ride groomers, want to start going off piste a bit more and enjoy powder runs when i get to japan :) i love bombing down and no park stuff as yet.

I just can't decide on the bindings! Its down to 3 choices:

Ride capo 2013 ($215) are all aluminium chassis which means stronger and stiffer? Downside is that supposedly it creates dead spots in the board compared to plastic? The he 2013 models have smaller baseplates however and they are supposedly flexy. Ive been trawling thru these forums and some people had complaints with ride capo's ratchet design saying that they had problems with grip and it chewing teeth. Hoping this is fixed on the 2013's as they feature the new binding. I really like the idea of the wedgie 2.5 canted footbeds as my knees are effed. Im just concerned these might be TOO stiff...not sure if thats what i want for my board and my style of riding. (1 year warranty and unlimited on baseplate and heelcup)

Burton cartels 2013 ($183). Everyone seems to rave about this binding and it only has only positive reviews..i just dont know how well there "autocant" system works and think it might be a bit gimmicky! Do they save ur knees like the capo wedgie footbeds? (1 year warranty)

Rome 390 boss ($173). Again everyone raves about this binding. Its medium flex but i wonder if too soft for my setup/riding style? canted footbeds like the ride capo's. (2 year warranty)

They are seem to have pretty much equivalent tech and rate highly. I just cant decide which is best for my money, my knees and my setup/ride style.

Any advice to help me narrow it down and pick one would be greatly appreciated. CHEERS! :yahoo:
