Ride or Union?

So my local boardshop is having a summer sale and im looking to pick up some new bindings. They had both the Ride Revolt (which i know is a pretty good binding) but also the Union Contact Cobra Dog edition (which look sweet). I cant find any good information or reviews on the Cobra Dogs... Can anyone convince me to get either one?
Thanks!

It looks like the cobra dog edition has a different highback than the normal contact. I will be riding some park but not all day. are there any features that either one has that makes it better than the other?

The Cobra Dogs have the Team highback. It'll be slightly more responsive heel to toe, than the regular Contacts, but I doubt you'd personally notice much of a difference anyway. The base is still the same.

Ride bindings are made out of metal. That's enough to make me kick them to the curb and never ride them. The design of the footpads are terrible as well.

Both will be fine, but I'd buy the Unions if I were you. That's a limited edition model as well, so if you don't like it, you can always flip it on Craigslist and make a premium back. Whereas you'd make like $50 on the Rides.
