2011-12-26 Where's the friggin' season?

Well, it's boxing day. It's finally snowing on the mountain today, and this might even stick around for a few days. Wow, it's been bad. I didn't even go boarding last weekend (tore my rec room apart instead), and I didn't go this weekend (mostly because it's xmas). But frankly the scratches I got on my board two weeks ago from all the crap sticking up through the 2.5 mm of snow coverage have just turned me off of the idea of going up until there's something to ride on.

First trip of the year

Posted 12-13-2011 at 01:38 AM by Gangstatalk (My snowboarding Life)

So pumped, I found out about a website called OvRride who does trips all winter out of NY and NJ. I am going on a trip to Killington, in Vermont, with them this weekend December 16th-18th.

About 60 people all around my age taking 5 hour bus ride up to Vermont for the weekend to stay at some Slope side condos. Definitely should be a great time.

Vermont temps finally went down last week so the mountain has been blowing snow full time for about 2 weeks now.
