Default Why does this board suck?

167 TRS BTX

Please tell me. Give me all the unpleasant details. What's wrong with this stick. Do you think it sucks a wee bit or like a shop vac? Maybe no one will reply. Then I know it doesn't suck at all.

Found a great deal on one. I'm ready to pull the trigger and find out what the Magne-traction/Banana hype is about first hand.

Well, it's pretty big so if you weigh 115 pounds, it will suck. Other than that...go for it.

After riding a GNU Altered Genetics (MTX) last year and a Skate Banana (BTX) this year, I can tell you I'm not likely to ever go back to a standard board. Only bad thing I can see is if you're not big enough for a 167. I'm 6'1 215lbs and I the GNU is a 162 and the SB is a 159

Less swing weight? Easier to repair?

The magnetraction is def overrated, don't know anything about they're banana shape because I've never ridden one. But if you want to buy that board in 167 make sure you're 6'8" 260lbs because that thing is a beast.

you guys are too funny... a 67 is a big board but its not some behemoth.

stand in a tram line or a lift line at some of the bigger hills (terrain wise) and you will see plenty of guys riding 162-168 and bigger.

some of you need to check out some terrain besides the handrail at your apartment complex... lol.

Can't I'm in NH...we dont get the snow VT does and everything is usually straight ice. It's pretty bad when groomed man-made is considered optimal conditions.

Do it, sick board... also i'm pretty sure Lib and GNU made the edges wrap around the whole board now... I was looking at a guys BTX Jamie Lynn at Stratton a couple of weeks ago and his board definitely had fully wrapped edges... any owners of the 08/09 boards wanna chime in???
