need help with snowboard please - Snowboarding Forum

My brother is trying to quickly find a snowboard to order and he is mainly just looking at the looks of the board. He is a beginner snowboarder but wants a board that will still be good at intermediate and is 5'9 and 130 lbs. He is looking for an all-mountain board mostly for slopes and powder. I don't want him to get a crappy board because he wanted a nice looking one, so I'll list what he is looking at. He is looking to spend no more than around $230.

K2 Select
Nitro Punisher
Nitro Target

Are any of these good, and also I see alot of different kinds of Nitro targets; what's the difference between them?

If there are better boards please list suggestions.

I would go for the K2 versus the nitro any day.

If you are looking at getting some years out of your board.
Go for the K2 select. Get one size up if possible

Also... Be careful with the boot size.
Looks like a narrow board. So your boot would hang over.
