K2 formula's are about the best deal going in bindings, but if they cost more than 150 brand new they will be good. burton, ride, rome, union flux, nitro all make good bindings and have for a while.

You need boots too. Try on a bunch or order from a site that does returns, i recommend a medium or medium stiff pair just because thats what i like for all mountain and once they break in they get softer. everyone's feet are different, Expect to pay $150-300 for a nice pair.

jacket and pants gloves and under layers all come next,

try to go for 10k rated jacket/pants with taped seams, big deals on last seasons stuff can be had all over the interwebs

gloves or mittens with goretex,

merino wool socks, trust me, smartwool or darntough socks are worth every penny.

non cotton base layers, underarmor or merino wool again.
