I'm looking to buy my first board and I've been looking around at used boards to keep learning on.

I can't contact the seller and have no idea what I'm looking at.
Can't really tell if its damage or not and this is the only close up pic

This right here.

Unless it's a collector deck, that's gonna hang on your wall, you should be checking it out.

Run your hand along the edge, all the way round, you should be able to feel any damage, even with your eyes closed.

Then try to bend it in half by flexing it, if it doesn't break,, you should be good to go.

Where do you live? If you're anywhere near a decent resort, lots will have pre-season ski swaps. Local folks will come and put up used equipment on sale for very, very cheap. The one that happens at my local hill is mostly a way for people to get rid of stuff. It's like a flex market for ski/snowboard gear.

If you're on a budget you can also try to shop around and get last-season models on sale.
