Which Snowboard

My brother narrowed down his selection list for snowboards and has come up with

Burton Custom 154 (found one on overstock.com for $215 and was wondering if this is a good site to order off of)

K2 Select 153

Nitro 153 boards (he's been looking at a couple of nitro boards, not sure what ones but how good is nitro compared to the others?)

Which one would be best? My brother is 5'9 and 130 lbs with 9.5 boot size. He is a beginner but wants a board that will still be great when he becomes intermediate, he wants an all-mountain board that will be used for slopes/powder and maybe small jumps. If location is a factor we snowboard in Washington and Oregon. Also, jus want to make sure if these boards are the right size for him for being an all-mountain board; especially the 154, is that too big for him?

Thanks for any answers

153 may be on the long side for him, although far from un-ridable...anything in the high 140's to a 151ish would work well for an all mountain board.
